The Georgetown County Museum relies on dedicated volunteers to help serve the community and welcome visitors. Volunteers support day-to-day operations, memberships, special programs, and fundraising events. They may staff the Rice Trunk Gift Shop, lead tours as docents and assist with tasks such as grant writing, children’s services, and preparations for group visits.

Members of the Board of Directors also support these efforts.
