We are excited to offer 150 limited-edition Revolutionary War 250th Georgetown County Francis Marion Challenge Coins. These coins are numbered 1–300. The front of the coin is a painting by Tommy Timpson depicting General Francis Marion with his trusted scout Buddy in the Georgetown County low country.
We will be selling these coins at a series of events to celebrate the sacrifices and successes of liberty in our county and the state of South Carolina. All proceeds go to the Georgetown County SC250 Initiative to tell the story of the county’s involvement in the Revolutionary War to share narratives via presentations, symposiums/events to interpret and preserve the legacy of the men and women who fought in these battles that defined our nation.
